One breaks the beam connection and flies up right behind Jekin, leaving the volcano. "I hope everyone got out! But damnit, we lost Gale!"

Soon the wind had begun to pick up, blowing the rain sideways as it intensified. The lightning had grown more rapid and near with each moment. Kyushin's gaze remained fixed and haunting. "I'm watching. Haven't you ever seen a cat hunt, Gale?"

Jekin nods. "Yes, and he took any information about his plan with Obersin when the volcano erupted." He looks down to see Lara and the others at a safe distance. "Good, they made it out." Jekin descends to land among them.

Lara frowns, feeling pity for Ayn. "No I didn't smell anything, but you look misrable. Poor thing." Lara thinks about how she could help and looks at the erupting volcano. "I suppose there's nothing left of Obersin now.."

Gale smirks. "Yes, I have. I take it you're the cat in this?"

She shakes her head forcefully, then calms down. "No.. it's nothing.. I can't let it get to me, or Gale just might get away with whatever the hell he's trying to do." Ayn takes a deep breath, and forces a smile. "Close one."

Gale chuckles. "You're as arrogant as you're father. Now if you'll excuse me, I have buisness to attend to. I know we'll meet again, but next time I won't be so merciful." A whirlwind forms around Gale, and he soon disappears.

Lara shakes her head at the site of the volcano and turns to Ayn. "Anything I can do for you?" Suddenly she sees Jekin land and looks to him. "Thanks for the stall for time." He nods and takes a rest, he used a lot of energy holding off the eruption.

((k, anyone who missed a bit can post and act like they've been around and escape. Chapter two starts tomorrow!))

Cloud groggily walks over to Ayn with a frown on his face. He was dragging his sword in the gravel below. His head and eye were bleeding from the fall. "We need to find Gale. I'm sure you know where he is headed, now lets go." He extends his robotic hand to her.

Riki jumps into the seat and stares around. "Onarav...that...that..." Her fist clenches in rage and she stares at the volcano.

Dragon and rider soar out of the volcano, riding on the hot air. Rikali glances over her shoulder at Hayate. "We were nearly on top of him! I could have killed that son of a bitch once and for all!"

TZM watches the valcano erupt from afar, his eyes seeing the glow shimmer into the sky, the redness adding a another pastel of color to the briliant painting that is the sky. He sisgh slightly, then looks away. he had had to elave this journey for his own reasons, mainly that of a little girl that needed his help. He had coem accross the gilr once before, sick and hurt. he had had to bring her abck to her village, unconcios and having little life within her. he watched as they nurtured her and brought ehr abck to health, and they amd ehim promise to come back again sometime, for she saw him as her hero. This kind of fealing wasn't the best any more, he ahd once loved this fealing, doing this ona regular basis just so that fealing would stay, almost like a drug adict takes drugs to keap a high. Now, however, the fealing was little more than a slight uplifting, a slight flurry of happyness, like he had actually done soemthing right, but then it ended.
So, now he walked again through a small wood, not thinking much of where or why he was going. this was a usual for him now, becouse, frankly, he didn't cae where he went. he could travel for days on end before growing tired to rest, thats just who he was. he didn't have ahome, nor a family, nor aloved one to tie him down any more. Just himself, and no one else.
Still walking, he held his head low, looking at the ground before him, thinking on maters such as the volcano and others, when suddenly he looked up once more.

The volcano!

The village was within the ange of the volcano's lava. He had just left a couple of hours ago, on foot. he couldn't amke it abck on time if thats all he did. That gilr needed him again, a since of slight pourpose filling him now a fealing he had thought had been lost to him. He ran as fast as he could, his feat thumping on the ground, echoing his heart beat which had quickened dramatically.

Damn.. i won't make it...

He jumps into the air, as far as his legs will let him go, before a glowing white light surounds his body, angel wings sprouting from his back and white armor apearing over him quickly.
I promised to myself i wouldn't us this again... but damn it... i have to...

The light suddenly become strak in the sky as he takes off, faster than light, amere split seconed later, he is at the town. His eyes gaze around as the destruction insues. The town had been hit before he ahd a chnce to relize it, the lava already going on it's way ina a different place. here was little to nothing left, the ash blanketing the ground in whichthe lava did not. The houses, aflame, lit up the sky like the volcano had done before, there own embers floating upon the wind in which he controlled.
He fell to his knease and pounds the ground, a giant crack apears as the rumble from the impact shudders the earth. He could ahev amde it... if only he had just stayed... if only he had stayed with the girl...
A roar of anger erupting from his lips spreads accross the land, the angel wings and armor disapearing as he looks upon the carnage once again.

Ayn looks up at Cloud, then his hand. "What are you insinuating?" She tries a grin. "I'm not his baby-sitter, you know."

With that she takes the robotic hand and helps herself up.

Cloud snickers, sheathing his sword and whiping some blood out of his eye. "You are the ground I'm standing on pretty much. I'm sure he's on the same earth and I know you could find him. Can't lose that smell..." He rubs his nose as the demon inside of him becomes sensitive to the abnormal smell that few others, if not none besides him and Ayn can smell. "We need to get moving." He starts walking in the direction Gale flew away.

Hooded and cloaked, HaVoK walked into tri links. He looked around, searching for a farmiliar face amoungst all the people. It had been many an age since he had been here, and within this time most of those he knew were would be dead or long gone elsewhere. He knew this place was a good place for information, and he had often talked to One and travelers when he needed info.
A Hand touched him on the shoulder and he swung around

''HaVoK...isn't it?'' a man said, with a curious look on his face

''Thade!'' HaVoK said in surprise. ''three hundred years and you're still alive? and i thought you were Human!''

''Who said i'm not? But i've got a deal going on with a friend of an Immortal. Lending me some of his blood'' Thade replied. ''Let's sit down, it's been too long for us to catch up whilst standing.''

the two dark characters sat by the earest available table.

''How's the war goin?'' Thade asked with genuine wonder

''Ongoing, But well. We're making ground, but Evil is not easily destroyed, it just...retreats.''

''So....last time i saw you, you assended. What've you been sent back for now?'' Thade asked, in a way that gave the impression he already had an Idea.

''I don't know exactly'' HaVoK remarked. ''I know it's big...bigger than anything that's happened down here in the last 300 years, that's why i'm here...but detail wise, all i have is a name. Gale.

That's why i'm here...information. Is One around?''

''No'' Thade replied ''He went away, about 3 months ago now.''

''Do you know where he went? or where i can get intel on this ''Gale?'' HaVoK said, in a dissapointed tone after finding out One was gone.

''I think both of your questions will have the same answer. before One went, i did some looking around...and found this letter...it talked about Gale and some 'Megiddo' thing. A location was given...the volcano in the Triale Wastelands.''

''That's a long way from here, even for a heavenly being. I must go, now.'' HaVoK stood, ready to depart immediatly.

''wait there's more...I...I think they're related'' Thade said, hastely

''Even more reason to find One as soon as possible. The Triale wastelands heh...what's going on i wonder...I can be by the borders by sunrise tomorrow.''

''God Bless'' Thade said Jokingly as HaVoK was going through the door.

HaVoK smirked and rushed through the door

He's staring at the ground when he just remembers. "Hey, Jekin." He rises off the ground. "Come here, I need to talk to you." He backs up a little so no one else can hear them.

Cloud stops in mid stride and turns, taking the letter from his pocket and letting the wind take it. "Just how do you think all of us got here, anyway?" He walks back to the group and leans on a boulder, arms crossed. He looks up to the volcano as the lava bursts out.

"You remember what I mentioned about the little girl? Rose? Well, she's the daughter of Riki. A few month ago I was in the castle visiting Gale, this was before Megiddo began, but Rose came to the castle wanting to train under Gale. So she trained with me for a while before I had to leave, and after that I dunno what Gale did with her, but I know he didn't kill her."

For just under 24 hours...HaVoK had been traveling. Running on the clouds in the air...he had a clear view of miles around. He could see the wasteland opening up infront of him. Even though he didn't like it, It was a farmiliar place. The great AA war had caused the Abbis to live deap in these lands. The fact that his makers, the great Western Angels had faught with the Abbis didn't bother him. He knew One, and One wasn't bad. The Angels had bigger worries on their minds currently, the great war, not seen by the people of this dimension.

HaVoK was alone, the only Angel, well, Half Angel that there was anywhere around for all he knew. He would be his own side for any fight that would rage out.

In the distance he saw the great Volcano, the city of obersin. Largest dwelling of the Abbis. It made sence that One would be here, and if Gale was his sibling...

The Volcano errupted with great force, and with Angelic eyes he saw it as if he were inside it when it happened. He saw figures clambering about.

What was going on? Was this to do with 'Megiddo'? he quickened his pace, eager to find the answers to what Megiddo was, and where One was, and why he had been sent.

Soon enough, he was above the volcano...and saw the group of people...some of whom he recognised. He knew they could see him, he was not trying to hide. He dropped to the floor.

"Rose also changed her name to Roselenna. . . Actually. . .there's more. When I was there I met a Siren by the name of Laena." His voice drops to a whisper. "She was infatuated with Gale, and over time Gale seemed to have gotten mutual feelings for her. They liked each other! Gale found someone! Then one day when we were training Roselenna, we got separated from Gale and Laena. When I saw Gale coming back to the castle, I found out Laena died. From then on Gale started hallucinating, seeing Laena everywhere. It was driving him crazy. But from that point, Megiddo began. I had to flee the castle to train. I'm just glad that you and Lara also seemed to have noticed these strange occurences coming from Gale." One grows silent for a moment.

Jekin shakes his head. "Great, his pissed because his woman died. That explains a lot. Damn it, he was screwed up enough as it was." Jekin sees Havok land and in an instant he has his guns trained on him. Lara falls suit soon afterward. "What the hell is an angel doing here?!"

One is about to do the same but takes a look at the angel. . . "Hey, I know him! No, no, put your guns down. That's Havok, a half angel. He's okay, don't worry! I met him in my travels a while ago." He steps in Havok's direction. "Sorry, old friend."

Something's going down...I don't know who 'Gale is' or what the hell 'Megiddo' is...but i'm here to help resolve it...or so i guess.

So....are you going to stand down...''HaVoK stares at Jenkin ''Or am i Going to have to Stand you down?''

''you however...have lead me over fire, cloud and into wastelands. A fun hunt i can assure you...but even I like to know why i'm huntin''.

Jekin nods. "Pardon me, I have no ill-will towards you. I just, don't trust Angels for justified reasons." He motions to his lost eye. "Well, let's make sure everyone's situated, and then we can figure out what we're going to do."

Finding a rock Bhaal sits himself down on it looking back to the volcano and the destruction it was bringing. Well that was rather brief. Turning his gaze to the rest of the assembled group that he had only met very briefly before the 'incident' Bhaal gets up from his resting place. He recognised some of the faces from before but couldn't really place any of them. Moving just outside the small gathering he waits to see what's going on now.

HaVoK goes around the group, learning about what has been happening. About what brought them here, about what Mediggo is, about who Gale is, and about their travels so far. One by one, he pieces it together in his mind.

HaVoK turns to the power that caused the Volcano to errupt. Thinking to himself...he wonders

'how do we stop this?'

HaVoK keeps staring at the volcano...

'At least without stopping This guy...permanantly'

Chapter 2: Treasure Hunting

Jekin sits down, looking at everyone in the group. "Which one of you guys found Gale? You're the only one/s that could of known where he's going, or what he's planning."

Ayn shakes her head, leaning back on her elbows. "It wasn't me.. I just heard gunshots, although it could have been from anybody."

Her gaze shifts to the city, and she pictures in her head the remains of the long-since lost disappearing under the magma. She shakes her head to clear her mind of it.

Fury speaks up for the first time since they escaped the volcano. During the entire conversation, he had sat quietly on a large rock off to the side, his arms crossed over his knees and his rifle laid across his lap. "I found him... Or he found me, anyway."

''You mean We have a psycho on the loose with vast Abbis power, who's angry as hell, at who knows what...and we had no idea where he was goin'?''

HaVoK stands up a body height piece of wood, and wedges it between two rocks. He draws his sword and starts training, using the wood as a practice body. Swinging round and round he efficiantly takes the wood down in several locations, without actualy touching it.

HaVoK turns to look at Fury also

Walking closer to the group Bhaal gathers with the rest of them. Well I was there too having just come accross Fury too. He was reading from some book although I wasn't really listening. Something about the "Key of Hades". I can't remember what else he said though.

"Yeah, actually." He looks up at Jekin and pauses for a moment. "He's planning to open the gates of hell." It seemed funny to say it--Since when could anyone do that? Under any other circumstances he would laugh at such a thought.
